Shot my first reloads

#1

Post by EKO »

After about a month I finally got a chance to shoot my first reloads. 50 rounds of 38 Special and 50 rounds of 357 in various loads. Trailboss powder and 125 Gr. bullets. RN for the 38 Special and RNFP for the 357.

I didn't have a chronograph, but there is enough Info out there to see how about how fast the loads are. I did notice that the more powerful loads seem to be more accurate.

1 load did not appear to hit paper, but it may have went through a previous hole. I did tear the gun down to make sure that the barrel was clear.

Only 1 problem. WHAT IS THAT SMELL!!!!!!! Had to come home and take a shower

Trail Boss. Even though it smells like they scooped up some of the ingredients right off the cow trail, it's still good stuff. ;-)
It's not gun control that we need, it's soul control!

Congrats, I bet you were surprised with the recoil on how light it was vs factory ammo. It will take some getting used to. When you get it down and try to shoot factory ammo, your expectation in accuracy increases
