A stranger who comes into my house with a concealed gun is an unknown quantity and as such is a risk to my family. He would be politely asked to leave. I see no reason to place my family at risk just so he can make a paycheck. My house, my rules.

I doubt that "everyone" is going to post 30.06 signs. However, I don't have a problem with anyone posting a 30.06 sign. It's their property, they get to decide how it gets used and who gets to use it. It's called "property rights". That's why it's not "my house, your rules".

I can't think of anytime where it has been an issue for me. The places I go don't have 30.06 signs. Kroger, Sam's, Target, Wal-Mart, Fry's, the various restaurants my wife and I like, none of them are posted. The only place I know of that I go to where I can't carry is my job. It is a Federal installation, and I don't mess with the Uncle. Consequently, I have never had the experience of going to a place only to have to turn around upon seeing a 30.06 sign. I will say that I am not morally opposed to doing business with a place that is posted, assuming I am not carrying at the time, which is unlikely.

Remember the video that mentioned liberty? Liberty means that others can exercise their rights the same as you. If they are acting in a civil manner then why should you care?

For me, I could care less if they are licensed or not. I do expect everyone I meet to be armed, and I consider everyone to be a VCA until proven otherwise. A license only proves the person was not a convicted VCA on the day Texas DPS ran the background check.

It is common practice in the real world. It may not have been as common in 2013 as it is in 2019 but it was not uncommon then either. Trades people are just as leery of customers as customers are of them and there is no Yelp or Google reviews to help identify the customers you just don't want to risk doing business with.

I was overseas when this was posted so I'll throw in my two cents... if they're carrying in a holster, it's highly likely they're licensed. If it's just stuffed into their pants with no holster, I'm not going to confront them but I'd be more watchful.
