There's that idiotic phrase again: "common sense way to save lives". Here's a real "common sense way to save lives": Don't come for my guns! :mad5

I have a feeling, at this point I may invest in the company that produces the "Ensure" supplement drink... :biggrinjester:

That, and some antiacid producers as well...

What the heck am I saying!!! I'm six years from being in the same boat!!!

Nevermind... :thumbs2:

I would LIKE to think this is some sort of April Fool's joke of an article, but where the UN is concerned, no scheme is too harebrained. Those bureaucrats in the UN come up with such insane ideas to control people and gain more power for themselves that anything like this has to be taken at face value. Sad, but true.

I will not give up my guns, but they are welcome to my ammo... one round at a time. :rules:

“The optimal self-defense posture for seniors would include such items as a rape whistle or high-decibel air horn, quick-strike road flares, an electronic medical alert system, a cellular telephone with a large display, morphine injections, neon or glow-in-the-dark armbands, a mesh vest, a pith helmet with flashing headgear and a solar-powered radio,” said Dr. Betti.

Is it sad that when it comes to the UN you really can't tell if they're actually proposing something this stupid or it's just an April Fool's Day joke?

Of course I made a mistake...There are some pictures that are not complying with the rules of this forum...But I guess if you click on the link, that is your decision...

I'm leaning towards this being an April Fools Joke...

But if any of the 55 and above crowd want to give me their weaponry to put into safe keeping...I offer my services... ;-)
