New York State Sets Up Gun Snitch Line With $500 Award...

I saw there's a number to text and report/snitch as well...maybe I haven't had enough coffee this morning but I'm really tempted to "drop a dime" and report a few gun "crimes"....and then at the very end add "oh, this is in Texas...so there's no problem...."

I wouldn't be all that surprised if they had some illegal weapons.

Don't be fooled. Those weapons would only be illegal if the Nanny and Governor say they are. In this case, they would get a pass, like all others that have favored status either because of who they are or who they know. The powers that be are not going to bust the mayor's security detail. Otherwise, how would they ensure their security. The law may say the weapons are illegal, but who is going to enforce it?

Aren't the two pillars of the American justice system "innocent until proven guilty" and "EQUALITY UNDER THE LAW"? If that's truly how NY feels, then they no longer have an American justice system and I'm no longer particularly concerned with following their laws (not that it much matters since I don't live there and have no reason to visit, but I'll bet there are people who do that have the same views on the topic).

According to the new state law, you cannot transfer, lend, lease, sell, inherit, give or even take a gun to get repaired without breaking this new law...

So what are you supposed to do when you die and own firearms...Take them with you???

I could be wrong, but this is a clear indication that the Second Amendment no longer applies in NY State...

And yet we see nothing being done to correct this...

Colorado is close behind, if not already in lock step in this process...

So we have two state governments in this Union that are ignoring the Constitution of these United States...Irony seems to be going off in all directions and the citizenry of this country are getting caught up in the turbulence...

I wonder what is to become of us now...What are you supposed to do about this???

I guess the first thing that civil people do is go to the polls next time they open...But that is a crap shoot...I do not believe the people in those states have the courage to correct this issue, I believe they are cowards, there may be the odd few that are not, but I do not believe they are in numbers sufficient to correct this, and many other things that are wrong in their states...

And I certainly do not want people from those states moving here...Just because Texas has some reasonable, conservative, originalists that live and work here...Call me a prude, but I would work to keep my own house in order before I go trouncing to another state because mine failed to respect our unalienable rights...

If this is not a clear warning about the direction this country is heading, then I do not know what it will take to get people to start thinking past whats on the TV this evening...

I'm sure there are lawsuits in the works, but it's a crap shoot as to whether or not or not the case will be heard by an activist liberal judge and it can take years to hit the Supreme Court which is liable to be stacked with Obama appointees by the time. It's not looking good. We are destined to be a nation of outlaws.

Also, I'm guessing some court orders can come out restricting the enforcement of these new "laws".
