ooh. I want one of those. That is when the price comes back down.

ooh. I just noticed it even has the short barrel. P-90? or PS
Yeah I would love one as well. That's the full auto real deal P90! Just a rental at Top Gun range in Houston. This was a few years ago they were much easier going. They would actually let you handle the full auto. Now when you rent them they will bring it out to you on the range let you shoot it then they take it back...

I remever when you took this picture! I was actually standing about 2-3 feet to your sons left. I was the one who took y'all out on the range that day as well. I would say that your statement is wrong in that we do let you handle the full autos. If you ask we will let you handle whatever you want. We do have to escort all class 3 rentals for your safety.

Fixed it for you. Looks like he has an up hill battle in appeals court.

Can you imagine if someone were to drop a dime and report (to the DHS) that this might be training a kid to do some dastardly act???
:smilelol5:

I posted the glider pics with my 13 yr old and a pic of my 11 yr old in the cockpit of a biplane. Working with disadvantaged kids on a daily basis, I'm pretty confident DPS has their hands full with real issues.

Maybe I should post some pics of the boys on the runways hooking up gliders and running along side the glider holding up the wing until the glider takes off and then jumping in the golf cart to make a mad dash off the runway before the next plane lands. Nah, that's not dangerous, that's just fun.

BTW, tons of hunting pics of my boys on FB. No issues.
Even better, 5th grade science project - used 3 different rounds of ammo with multiple layers of plywood to determine which round would have the most penetration. Both handguns and rifles were used along with pics of son shooting to prove he actually performed all aspects of the project. Lots of jealous kids at the science fair. Wish we would have had something better than plywood but I was afraid using a pig would have gotten us in trouble with PETA. :biggrinjester:
Well like I was illuding to, those pictures could be mis-interpreted in other areas of the country...The comparison being any activity deemed dangerous by someone elses standards and might bring some heat in that parent's direction...not that it cold not be addressed in a mature and reasonable manner...

I personally believe that CPS, along with the IRS are inhierently evil...Their intent may be clear and acceptable to some, but there ARE plenty of examples of abuses that cause some to have a little heartburn about justifying their existance...

Just my opinion...

No doubt all kinds of people make claims and report things in order to cause trouble for people they don't like, or simply out of ignorance. The job of an agency with this power is to look at the claim, in this case, the photo, and say: no laws broken, not dangerous, no basis for employing our power.

I was going to say, staffed with undereducated crusaders.....but really it's more like deliberately mis-eductated crusaders near the bottom of the intellectual and socio-economic ladder reveling in their power over others --especially when those others are smarter and wealthier.

I think CPS is a case study in why government agencies can and do go bad. I'm sure that if you followed a CPS case worker for a week, you would be appalled and sickened by some of the things that they have to deal with. I'll go out on a limb and say that the majority of cases that they touch are probably handled correctly.

There is, however, no check and balance. Like criminals who get more brazen with each successive criminal action, I think that some in CPS start exercising their power and then starting liking their ability to wield power. They go further and further until some egregious action that they take makes the news. For every one of those, I would expect that there are more that nearly cross that line.

Unlike HOAs, where I believe that those who gravitate toward the board positions are hungry for power, I don't think that those that start in CPS are that way. It is simply a product of the unchecked environment in which they work. I suspect that both they and their supervisors are understaffed for the case load that they have and that situation is the breeding ground for opportunities at abuse. It only takes a couple of reports by overly intrusive citizens to give them the opportunity, as in this case, to go beyond reasonable and necessary and try to punish parents based on the CPS worker's own bias.

You weren't the guy behind the counter... the one that dropped the PS90 when he brought it out from the back and put a ding in the barrel  Another one of the reasons TG has become a little more "hands off" the class 3 stuff. Not saying that's bad just an observation. I understand the rules. If I owned the place I would probably due the same. The owner was peeved and I would have been too!

I am sure that guy no longer works there...

We are in agreement there...But what gets me is a fact that you can post a video or a picture of a toddler taking a hit off a bong that the parents "might" have loaded with some "stuff", and you hear absolutely nothing about the investigation, or contact by any agency in that instance...

I guess it is more socially dangerous for a kid handling a gun (responsibly/safely), than it is to have a toddler getting stoned out of their mind...Both under parental supervision... :mad5
