I sent my packet 12 Feb - checked today (16 Mar - 1 month, 4 days) and the status has changed to "Application packet has been received from applicant, the application is in progress"
and
everything has been Green Checked, down to "Background Check : Under review"
and
Concealed Handgun License : "Print pending completion of application review"
my Wife sent her packet in about a week after I sent - she's still in the "awaiting" stage
a change from "waiting for materials" to.....

Excellent! I guess they are just bogged down with applicants (good for Texas, bad for you) as to why it is taking so long for first update. I'm sure your wife is soon to follow... Hopefully things will speed up now...

You're lucky. My wife and I both sent our packets on Feb 4 (from different locations) and the website still shows no receipt. Ridiculous.Whisky wrote:.
