Arent all semi-auto pistols going to fall under the ban?

Feinstein "“It also bans any other assault weapon, which is defined as a semi-automatic weapon that can accept a detachable magazine and has one military characteristic, such as a pistol grip, barrel shroud, or folding stock…These features were developed for military weapons to make them more effective and efficient at killing people in close-combat situations.”

Ok so she is defining an assault weapon as a semi-automatic weapon that needs only one characteristic. since this is somwhat loosely worded, arent all semi-auto pistols going to be banned even if they only carry 7 rounds? All semi-auto pistols have one characteristic that falls into her definition of military. All semi-auto pistols have a pistol grip, therefore they can all be banned under her idiotic rules. Am I right?

The above post was her quote from her presentaion in favor of gun control during a packed hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

Ok, I have a Glock 22 and 27. They both take a magazine, have a pistol grip for a handle and the slide covers the barrel like a shroud. According to someone's bill I would have assault pistols. Hmmmmmmmmmmm

I remain convinced that in formal hearings, or informal statements the antis will say, "No, they are not covered by this bill," and if it passes they will say, "Yeah, they are covered, BUT it's the law now, so that's how it is (shrug)" If legislators are not exposed to this possibility, through our letters, emails, and phone calls, we will face the same sham that was pulled in the health care bill, and we will only find out too late, that it's too late! Call, write, or email now and point out this wording, before it's too late!

Yes, I agree in fact if you look at the original list of the current POTUS (I cant stand even mentioning his name anymore) executive actions, they are all worded so loosely (like a 13 year old, and that is even being disrespectful to 13 year olds, sorry) that these actions and laws can be taken to mean anything. This is not by accident unfortunately, this is the new way that the politicians can get anything passed that they want and have interpreted by the justice department any way they want.
