I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Great. Don't know who Bill Whittle is but I like him. Gun ownership predates the constitution. According to the CDC in 2010 out of 30,000 gun related deaths, 2/3 were suicide. My grandmother told me about how all of her family was executed in the Nazi concentration camps. This was done in a civilized country (Germany). Americans don't believe that such things can happen now but throughout the world right now governments are killing their people. 60,000 in Syria, how many in Africa, Cambodia, China, N. Korea, etc. I don't believe it can happen here. But I don't think my executed family members thought it could happen to them either.
