but laterAn English teacher at Denton High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth area allegedly refused to grade two student reports because they discussed guns.
I'm not surprised but I am disgusted. This is just another example of how the teachers can inject their own personal beliefs into classroom situations to punish students who don't agree with them. Given the preponderance of teachers with Liberal leanings, it is no wonder that many of our kids graduate from public schools without a clear understanding of multiple points of view. The good news is that the school administration responded. The bad news is that there are likely more stories like this that didn't make the TV news.In a statement to MyFoxDFW.com, the Denton Independent School District said, "The teacher has accepted the paper and apologized to the student for misperceptions. The teacher's intent was for guns not to be trivialized in any school situation because of recent events."
