All I want to say is this... don't be a Kool-Aid Drinker of either wing!

This has happened ALOT over the years and WELL BEFORE this dude was the Prez.

The conspiracy theorists can make a big deal about it but unless someone can produce the Executive Order signed by the POTUS hand that "de-bolted" the Marines might be hard to say this was his call. This decision could have been made by a hundred different bureaucrats and or military commanders.

Trying to make this a spectacular issue by associating it to any particular cause is just juvenile and/or tin-hattieness, it's something the crazy leftist do!

Finally God Bless the Marines and God Bless the USA! :patriot:

P.S. Y'all know why the JFK gave the Green Beret to the Special Forces???

So Marines could have heroes too! :cheers2:

IN general your correct,,, but it is not as disconnected from the leader in question as your response implies.

Im just some nut from the internet, but my personal opinion based on what it is I do, did, and know is the story is closer to the truth then "This decision could have been made by a hundred different bureaucrats and or military commanders. "

Doesn't it figure that those were ceremonial rifles? Not sure who is using M14 with wooden stocks for their combat issue.

Yeah this stuff is kinda my day job too!

That day in the pic it was M14's (which are fully functional, ceremonial or not they are not demilled), in the related story it was service rifles in Afghanistan, but the same thing happens in country many times over, with service rifles and side arms.

And I doubt an 18C has had the same duties and responsibilities as I've had over the last 10 years (that's not a flame, I have no doubt yours were better, more interesting then mine.. that makes me envious, not speaking in a derogatory manner)

I'm not taking up for Obama but if I were the president or more specifically in charge of the presidents security I might be doing the same thing. Look what happened at Ft. Hood w/that coo coo Major. terrorist. Who would have guessed? Just because someone is in the military doesn't mean they can't have an agenda or be crazy.

That's one of the reasons I don't think background checks are really that great for gun control other than to say right now at this point in time this person has acted responsible. It says nothing of the future. Some good people go bad for no reason or maybe a reason that's good enough for them. You just can't really know about people. You can be maybe 90% sure w/background checks, psychological profiles etc... but you can't take that kind of a chance when it comes to the president.
