Full answer will come in the morning when those that are sleeping now, like I should be, wake up.

I will be.
I just did a check and it seems like 18+ can own pretty much any kind of firearm here. Maybe I'm misreading something...
under 21 just can't get CHL but can own a pistol on private property
"State law generally prohibits public possession of a handgun without a chl unless they are engaged in certain approved activities. But the law does not apply to possession of handguns by juveniles on private property"

I could be wrong and please correct me if Im wrong. I belive you can own a handgun if it given to you but you are not allowed to go out and buy one. Also won't be able to buy ammo for it till your 21. But as I said I could be wrong.

Then why is his Dad allowing him to sell it??? And not Dad..."Full Permission"??? Why???
I would think that there would be no cause for any question at that point...
Run fast, run far my friend, no matter how good a deal this looks to be...This does not pass the smell test...
But thats just my opinion...Others may differ and often do, and that doesn't hurt my feelings one bit...

Your call of coarse but I would want to deal w/ Dad.
If I were you I would suggest getting a lot of documentation.
Personally now. w/ above.
I would have already passed. There will be another deal down the road.
If it is a deal too good to be true & you just cant pass it up,
YOU PROBABLY NEED TO.
My .02cents & some think it worth about half that.
