Think about a Kahr CM9 in a Desantis holster for pocket carry. Very small, great trigger and just keeps getting better. And its price point is just above the LC9. But not prohibitive for a small 9mm.

I would pay that. I planned on picking one up at the last gun show but they were $675 and up.blackgold wrote:I didn't look where you were located but patriot outfitters in killeen had an all black xds for 595. Not the best price but its in stock

If by "these days" you mean the last 6 weeks, I would agree.OldCannon wrote:Gun shows these days:jmra wrote:I would pay that. 1) See the gun you want, but it's way overpriced
2) Haggle with the seller, finally get him to consider taking $50 less (but still way overpriced)
3) Get interrupted by a guy who hands the dealer $100 more cash than his asking price, dealer tells you to get stuffed
4) Walk the aisles more
5) Repeat

I would be interested in hearing more detail on the issues you had with "the tac reload requirements in defensive pistol". Specifically, the requirements as well as your difficulty. I am getting ready to book a tactical training class and reloading in-drill is part of that.Redneck_Buddha wrote:I took basic and defensive pistol classes this past weekend and started out using my XDs but got eaten alive on the tac reload requirements in defensive pistol. BHNC...I only had one 7 round and one 5 round mag. I misplaced my other 5 rounder. There were several timed draw from holster drills that required access to no less than 14 rounds so without another mag I was SOL. Next time I will have at least two 7 rounders and two five rounders on two belt clips. In the closed quarters drill in which we weren't allowed a reload, we needed at least 10 rounds.BigHatNoCows wrote:I would be interested in hearing more detail on the issues you had with "the tac reload requirements in defensive pistol".
