Yes, New York is on track for 100 subway deaths this year. Oh, the joys of living in a city where legal handguns are pretty much impossible to have and carry.

The ideals of modern liberalism, public transportation and unarmed citizens. Imagine, one third of all the violent deaths in Houston, just in the subways of New York.

If you remember New York a while back was a pretty violent place to live and visit. That is until the conservative "Rudy" Giuliani came in an got the city reasonably safe again. Wonder if with a liberal mayor like Bloomberg things are headed down again.

The statistical uncertainty goes as the square root of the number of events when determining the rate of something like this, meaning with six deaths the uncertainty in the rate is around 40%. Of course, the fact that liberals would have trouble with numbers doesn't really surprise me.

We should ban subways
Be without fear in the face of your enemies.
Stand brave and upright that the Lord may love thee.
Speak the truth always even if it means your death.
Protect the helpless and do no wrong!
