I didn't send mine certified either, and the updates posted at relatively the same time as hose who did.

No update from DPS yet. Everything should be there. Ordered a KingTuk holster. Since they're backed up it should be here around 1/30-2/15. Wondering which will get here first. I have Desantis Cozy Partner just incase the CHL beats the holster  . I really need to stop checking the DPS website daily, it's driving me nuts. :totap: :totap: :totap: :waiting: :waiting: :waiting:

Looks like you still have time to wait, my friend. I applied before you and it still says waiting for materials.

12/9 Class
12/10 Packet Mailed
12/11 Packet Delivered to DPS and Fingerprints Taken

That's 4 weeks without a status change. Part of me wouldn't mind paying more to hire more staff so I can get it done faster.

I mailed mine in about the same time. Just checked today and my background check had been completed and they're "manufacturing license." I'm not sure why they don't say printing, but oh well.

Mine may have been faster than normal or at least for this particular time of the year... no criminal history, not even a speeding ticket, and I've already had multiple background checks for DOD security clearances in the past. I'm not sure what the effect truly is, but I'll take it.

Good luck!

The time frames for the OP and a couple others are the same as mine by a few days, so I guess this is the thread where we commiserate! :cheers2:

However, I did see another thread where a poster sent in the materials around the same time frame and his/her status seems to be progressing.
