Wrong (armed) victim selected, criminals lose

Post by RPB »

Investigators said Payne and Williams attempted to rob Marcus Gainey, 30, who was able to find a weapon and shoot the two teenagers in what Dresser said was self-defense.

Both Payne and Williams had active felony warrants for armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in an unrelated case, Dresser said.

Wait they were wanted felons who could not legally own a firearm, yet they had firearms in their possession? :banghead:

Not only that, but while they want to put US in prison for 5 years if we don't register our legally owned guns, this guy was out and about after illegal possession in a crime.

This reminds me of another issue. Lots of talk on the forum about door to door confiscation of firearms from law abiding citizens. Does anyone here think that if that should happen, they'll go door to door in the cities confiscating guns from gang bangers? We all know that will never happen.

How would they? They would not have complied with the law and registered their weapons.

The gang squads know where the bangers live and hang out and they know they have guns. But then, the left doesn't really want the criminals to give up their guns.
