Along with Van Jones, who Valerie Jarrett, senior advisor, happily announced at a press conference that "they" had, had their eyes on him for quite some time and were overjoyed to have him "on the team".

They (the white house gang) knew he was a confirmed Marxist - all the while, the news media seemed rather like the three monkeys...

Of course, Obama isn't a socialist...or admires them or ...?

You're not likely to find many "communists" answering the roll call in the " C " column.

The domestic variety seem to prefer to identify themselves as "progressives " currently.

I first took notice of the "progressive " movement in 1976 while attending ASU in San Angelo, Texas of all places.

Progressivism is nothing more than a thinly veiled mask used to conceal Marxists.

This may surprise many who are comfortable identifying as progressives - and probably don't consider themselves Marxists.

They are being used to build the political strength to elect a Marxist like Obama.

Marxists are willing to forego the honor of brandishing the title of "communist", or "Marxists", or even "socialists" - so long as the result remains the same.

These folks are agressive and committed to fundamentally transforming America into a "progressive" society, and they don't really care what descriptive term is applied to their utopian designs - it's all the same .

When enough folks wise up to the "progressives" - they will assume another identity.

Such is the behavior of predatory Marxists.

Marxists would not frequent a forum like this. I doubt you'll find a Marxist here. Might want to try the MSNBC site. :tiphat:

I'll be brief, having once posted about this...

I come from a family of under-achievers and a culture that considered poverty a kind of nobility.

They scorned anyone willing to sacrifice to get an education or those simply striving to get ahead.

That said, naturally these folk admire socialism and are willing to call themselves progressives. Free stuff, give it to me...

I got away from them and ultimately achieved affluence. I didn't hurt anyone in my endeavor to avoid poverty. It took many, many years...

Those who seem to think achievers are evil are misguided. Socialists hate achievers. They're the class who think for themselves. They don't want 'free stuff' because they appreciate it really isn't free. These individuals aren't willing to trade in their independence for subjacency.

Socialists also hate them because they're denied that sense of noblesse oblige they've come to find so satisfying in lording their largesse over the unwashed masses.

I feel sorry for socialists (todays so-called progressives) and simultaneously find them contemptible. Truly, they're to be pitied first and battled against second.

If, as is sometimes the case, progressives come from affluence producing guilt that produces a certain kind of daffy wish to right the wrong for the poverty stricken, they're terribly misguided. The vast majority of those in poverty wish to remain there. They're conditioned to believe welfare is THE status they belong in by progressives. My view isn't colored by theory, I lived it. Progressives have robbed the poverty class by assuring them they belong in their Dickensian standard of living.

Given that, who really wants them to get ahead? It sure isn't the progressives...

The ruling progressive class doesn't live in poverty. They live like pashas with scepters in hand. Do as I say, not as I do...

Try living in poverty and getting your meager living standard dictated by the state because you live on welfare handouts. Then try to break out of that living hell and you'll have a better understanding.

Socialism is not an equalizer.

It's slavery.

The Dems aren't Communists. They are a different brand of socialist - Fascists. They let really wealthy, think Buffett, and big corporations keep their money while they oppress middle class small businessmen.

Look to South America for Obama's model. He is following the Argentine model almost exactly. Big unions, big corporations and lots of poor who depend on the government.

Next thing you will see is Michelle running for President in 2016.

We are becoming a banana republic.
