If you drink, secure the gun. You can get a simple lock box for under 100 that has a cable to attach to a car seat leg, or just lock it in your trunk if you drive a car.

If I ever felt like I was going to need my gun, I'd stay home. A CHL clears the air in so many ways, I'd say get it.
