Michael Moore: ‘Calm Down, White People, and Put Away Your Guns’
By Elizabeth Harrington
December 26, 2012
“We're an awfully fearful country considering that, unlike most nations, we've never been invaded,” he said. “Why on earth would we need 300 million guns in our homes?”

“I get why the Russians might be a little spooked (over 20 million of them died in World War II). But what's our excuse?” Moore said. “Worried that the Indians from the casino may go on the warpath? Concerned that the Canadians seem to be amassing too many Tim Horton's donut shops on both sides of the border?”

“No. It's because too many white people are afraid of black people,” he said. “Period.”

Moore continued: “The vast majority of the guns in the U.S. are sold to white people who live in the suburbs or the country. When we fantasize about being mugged or home invaded, what's the image of the perpetrator in our heads? Is it the freckled-face kid from down the street – or is it someone who is, if not black, at least poor?”
Actually, my fear is of fat, white, elitist gun grabbers whose darkest fantasies are that white gun owners fantasize about shooting poor, black, home invaders. I don't worry about home invaders, regardless of their skin color or financial state, PRECISELY because I can shoot them. But I do worry a LOT about the Michael Moores of the world precisely because I am a law-abiding citizen and I CAN'T shoot them for advocating the crushing of my rights.

I am getting really sick of being called a racist. Why doesn't the media show the true statistics on race and crime involving guns? That could be an interesting read.

I'm pretty dark for a white guy. Then again, I was a 0% during the campaign.

I fear the Michael Moore's, the Dianne Feinsteins, Chuck Schummers, Michael Bloombergs and their ilk, of this country a whole lot more than I fear the Snoop Dogg's and his ilk.

So there, I ain't no racist, Mikey.

It's interesting...I realize that this is just fiction, but it is so real that it ought to scare any gun owner...

....but in Matthew Bracken's "Enemies, Foreign and Domestic" trilogy, these are the following engines of change and the collapse of American society:
  1. A shadow sub-agency set up by a rogue administrator within BATFE manufactures a mass-murder, and pins the blame on an innocent disabled victim of PTSD
  2. Using the "tragedy," the President and Congress drum up a campaign, with the willing collusion of the media, to call for a ban of "weapons of mass killing and war."
  3. This shadow agency then starts conducting a guerrilla war against gunstores, gun advocates and advocacy groups, burning down their homes and businesses and killing them in their beds on the one hand, and then attacking mosques and black separatist offices in midnight drive-by shootings on the other hand, leaving behind manifestos implicating "2nd Amendment militia crazies" in the attacks.
  4. The government steps up the attacks in the press, equating among other things, that gun owners are racists.
  5. Gun owners begin to fight back using guerrilla tactics. The story's heroine assassinates the Virginia AG, who is party behind this war on gun owners, using a scoped and suppressed Thompson Contender in .223 from 200 yards out. She escapes.
  6. Another gun owner assassinates a (Feinstein-like) senator from 500 yards out with an ancient Mosin Nagant topped with a 1940s vintage Russian sniper scope.
  7. Government then outlaws all riflescopes because they are all "sniper scopes," saying that you don't need a scope to kill a deer, and the 2nd Amendment exists to protect hunting rights.
  8. An "underground" develops, and one of the retaliations is that a list of all BATF and FBI agents' private addresses is published on the web, and agents start getting picked off; and government slows toward a halt, as leftist politicians and bureaucrats no longer feel safe to travel about.
  9. Ultimately, all privately owned guns are outlawed.
  10. Enforcement splits between those LEOs who "follow orders," and those who don't. The national guard gets involved. TSA is tasked with setting up checkpoints were vehicles are randomly searched for contraband guns.
  11. Then the real fun begins.
There is much, MUCH more, including the formation of a communist front called "The Army of the Poor" which riots with impunity. New Mexico becomes the nucleus of a successful movement to split the American southwest—including the western part of Texas—into the new nation of Aztlan. And on and on and on. It is riveting reading.

But one of the themes that keeps popping up are the accusations from leftist characters that guns are the domain of white rednecks who hate blacks and hispanics, etc., etc., etc., ad nauseum.

The first book is copyrighted 2003. The second one is copyrighted 2006. The third one, where resolution is finally achieved (at a heavy cost, and leaving a country looking nothing like what we know today) is copyrighted 2011. The author was seemingly prescient, except for the fact that as far as we know, Adam Lanza's killing spree was not a manufactured event.

Except for the reports of police searching the woods for a second shooter, the NBC reports that the Bushmaster was found in the trunk of the car... the kind of grassy knoll type stuff that makes one wonder.

I guess I can claim to be a racist. There are people of all races that make me uncomfortable.

Don't cloud their "feelings" with mere facts.

  • Because it would disprove their case.
  • Because it would require them to do their own research instead of parroting the New York Times.
  • Because it would require them to confront their own racism.
  • Because it would further bolster the truth that they are untrustworthy, and that is their only stock in trade....that useful idiots trust them.
  • Because if they are wrong about this, what else are they wrong about?
  • Because if the lie were exposed, they would lose display and classified advertising revenue.
  • Because if the lie were exposed, their (little known) instrument of the court status could be revoked and they would lose out on legal advertising revenue.
  • Because if the lie were exposed, they might face libel suits in the courts, which whether or not they went against the media, would drain their resources in legal fees.
I could go on, but I think I've made my point. The 527 media are SO invested in this administration and in the anti-gun narrative that they are beyond the point of being able to back out of it without imploding. And if they don't kowtow, the administration will do to them what they've done to Fox News, which is to lock them out of the best access to the pretender.....uh, I mean president. So they have no strategic or tactical choices left to them other than to lean even harder into it, and pray that their side wins.........even though they won't like the results if they do.

This is what happens when you make a deal with the devil, and being a Christian, I myself see this as much a matter of spiritual warfare as I do political "warfare." Gun grabbers have made a deal with the devil, whether or not they realize it. If anyone doubts me, simply look at all the other evil they stand for.

Funny thing is, when I picture home invaders, I don't have any specific characteristics in mind, just numbers, and how to deal with them, but if I think about in a little more detail, I picture them as White, probably because I'm White. Given the unrelenting attacks in the media, the escalating claims, and upping the ante with a more comprehensive AWB and registration, I'm starting to think they're going for broke NOW, and we'll be facing confiscation before Comrade Obama leaves office....if he ever does.

Another funny thing is that in the face of all this, and given that The One has publicly stated he will sign an AWB, the Obamabots are still saying The Great One isn't going to take our guns, and not a single one has admitted to being wrong.

Funny. In my scenario, I see the home invaders as white men in their mid to late twenties. A scene I have played out in my mind over and over....

Michael Moore should be exiled to Elba along with that moron Piers Morgan.

Oh! And why does he think that we have never been invaded? Hmmm... could it be the 300 million guns? :headscratch

One thing I find interestingly disturbing is that both the violent nutter in Connecticut and the evil ambusher in New York supposedly both used Bushmasters. Can anyone tell me how many manufacturers of ARs there are because I am not really sure myself, there are so many. And yet somehow both of these guys used Bushmasters? Either its just a true freak coincidence or the mass media vultures are running a variation of their usual game of "it was an AK" when it was actually any number of rifles used in whatever crime they are reporting on. Their knowledge of firearms is so bad to begin with (and they have zero desire to learn) that its hard to say which. :grumble
