From Bud's

We are sending this email to any and all customers who have placed an order on http://www.BudsGunShop.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; in the past month. Many of you have been customers of ours for years, have placed multiple orders with us, and therefore understand that any delays in shipping or customer service you may have experienced recently are not normal for Buds. The combination of a presidential election, extremely disturbing events in the media, and also the upcoming Christmas season has resulted in our complete inability to communicate with every customer attempting to contact us or ship orders as timely as we normally would.

We sincerely apologize for any delay you may have experienced, or might be experiencing right now. Please be advised that although we admittedly cannot respond to every phone call, email, or Live Chat at this time....we continue to process and ship orders normally and will contact you if there is any issue with your order. If your order status indicates "processing" or "shipping" for an extended period of time....there is NOTHING wrong with your order, that simply means we have everything we need to ship your order and we are simply busy shipping orders that were received prior to yours. If you do not hear from us otherwise, your order will be processed and shipped in the order in which it was received.

For any customer who purchased a firearm with guaranteed delivery prior to Christmas as indicated with this icon we do commit to have those firearms delivered to your FFL no later than December 23, as we do not want to assume your dealer will be open on December 24th, Christmas Eve. This obviously only applies to customers whose orders have not already shipped, and many others will be delivered prior to December 23rd, we are just referring to the very last of the Christmas orders received.

The firearms that were marked with this icon when purchased will only be shipped after every Christmas firearm has been shipped. We did our very best to advise everyone of possible 2-3 week shipping delays for these items via icons, banners, and pop up messages during the checkout process. Once again, many orders will be shipped in less than 2-3 weeks, we are just referring to the worst case scenario.

Again, we do apologize for our inability to provide everyone with the level of service you deserve during this extremely difficult time.

We do appreciate your business and the confidence you have placed in us by selecting http://www.BudsGunShop.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as your firearm supplier.

We appreciate your patience,

Team Buds

I just confirmed this. I can't stand opportunists. The gun sales thing I could dismiss as a business decision

But this is just ripping people off and is the straw that breaks this camels back ... buh bye CTD
They just raised M855 (1,000 rounds) by $300. Cheaper Than Dirt?... my foot!

There is now a Boycott Cheaper Than Dirt Facebook page with 8000+ likes https://www.facebook.com/BoycottCheaperThanDirt
and the less popular Stand Against Cheaper than Dirt with 90+ Likes https://www.facebook.com/StandAgainstCh ... ref=stream

Reading the comments on their facebook page, most people are not happy with them right now.

I've been watching the 'likes' on CTD facebook. They are losing 'likes' at a rate of 1000 per every 20min. I don't know what they started with but they should be getting the message.

Aw shucks....the only thing they ever had decent prices on was cheap Russian ammo. Pmags were always overpriced, guns were cheaper at academy.

I will miss my Saturday afternoons in their store, standing shoulder to shoulder with the window shoppers, and trying to get helped by one of their know it all sales people dressed like SWAT officers.

I have zero interest in an AR15. Never have had. Don't know what I'd do with one. But now I'm thinking about getting one just because the government has me so angry about stealing our rights. If for no other reason, I'll buy one just because they don't want me to. And I'll get some of those "hi capacity" magazines too, because they don't want me to.

This is getting totally ridiculous.

You weren't missing anything. Fun to go to at first, but after the awe of hundreds of guns on the wall wore off, and the reality of their prices and tactical salespeople set in, I typically ended up leaving frustrated.... but with at least one box of Tulammo just so I didn't feel like I was wasting money on gas and my valuable time.

I've bought two guns at the Academy across 75, right after leaving CTD not a half mile away. My S&W Sigma was $20 cheaper at Academy, and my Sig was $50 cheaper.

So if CTD is cheaper than dirt, what does that make Academy? Cheaper than sludge? Alright, enough corny jokes.....

Think about the investment value. Prices for "pre ban" will skyrocket. Just like NFA restricted fully autos that are transferable.

And I thought i was the only one that experianced that. Or got nervous because 30 bandidos bikers are hanging out inside the gun store.

Clint and Heidi Smith of Thunder Ranch posted that there are two Cheaper Than Dirt. The Ft Worth Store is a separate entity from the online/.com The .com has suspended sales and upped prices, the store has not.
