No Sir, not a word from the lawyer.

I think the effort and lead is on them.... so they have my contact number, email address, unit of assignment at Hood. We will see what happens.

Thanks for keeping us informed. Very interested to see how all of this plays out.

I did a quick search of the Bell Co. docket and could not find any reference to this case. Either he plead out or the case got rescheduled. There has been no mention of the case in the local newspapers either.

IMHO, a member of the military should be able to carry anywhere they want to, and would benefit us all by doing so.

I'm confused... Is that October 15th? Of which year? Some of these legal things drag out for a while, so you'd think the courts would want to be clear on something as basic as the date.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

GLASS,K 11/28 14:00 special hrg 12‐03219 2C1203414 SAMPSON, NATHANIEL OWEN UNL CARRY HANDGUN LIC HOLDER

My apologies, looks like I DID open an older docket from my saved link.
The last time I see this case on the docket was 28 NOV..

And it is not on the current weeks docket (as far as I have access to for future cases)

You know Im resisting calling Mr Glass..... as he has my number, my email address, we had several appointment dates set and a plan to allow him to convince me this was a righteous case to weigh in on.

Dates were pushed..and passed, no more contact from Mr Glass.. I can only assume, Mr Glass and his client are no longer interested in outside observation or assistance.

At a minimum you can go to the Courthouse and just ask to see the Court file, it's public. There may not be much in it.

The court clerk has public files and you can look at them, even buy copies of documents if you wish. I'm not sure a layman can adequately interpret what might be found, in terms of procedural steps, expectations about what is next, etc. It isn't "rocket surgery" but does take some getting used to.

I would call the court clerk to see what the hours are, in case they close over the lunch hour or something.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

It would seem a written request must be submitted. And when I asked about "looking" I was told I could request copies and would have to pay $1.00 per page.

I’m interested enough to drive to Belton and even drop a few bucks to read though it.. But if the case file is more than 20 pages.... I’m not THAT interested :smilelol5:
