And the Game Begins
and now the game begins in earnest. I have to give props to Aaron at SG&A for making 10 hrs as painless as humanly possible. And yes, it's 2136 on Saturday night and I am already on the edge of the seat. LOL. I have about four weeks till my Hidden Hybrid shows up so I should be ok until it does. Maybe

Re: And the Game Begins
How long did it take them to update your status on website from the date they received your package mailed by certified mail?
I mailed my package on Nov, 2 by certified mail. Got the receipt back indicating it was in their mail room on Nov, 5th, but they still have not updated the website from the message that they are waiting on all the required documents.
I thought about calling and asking why the website has not been updated to show they have received the package.
Thanks

Re: And the Game Begins
It just takes a while for them to upload it. They are packed with plenty of applications from people all over Texas. I'm sure they've received it. I didn't see my "green check marks" until 2-3 weeks after I sent my documents. It'll update itself eventually. No worries, just be patient!trumanOscar wrote:How long did it take them to update your status on website from the date they received your package mailed by certified mail?

Re: And the Game Begins
you can figure 30 days MINIMUM for BG check to go through. Yes I know some people get theirs done faster, but typically its 30-60 days. I speak from experience!! One thing that helps is to avoid this forum (at least the waiting room since others will most definitely get their plastic before you). Also, read the living crap out of others experience, and laws that pertain to the CHL holder. Above all, stay safe!

Armed not dangerous but potentially lethal.

Re: And the Game Begins
damn jayinsat, I mailed my forms the same day as you but am just now in "manufacturing". This further proves my previous post of DO NOT CHECK THIS SITE while you wait, it will cause undue amounts of anxiety and stress!!!
I have been "manufacturing" for almost 4 days now, pretty long compared to most peoples sig lines that tell the timeline they endured. Oh well I hope it gets "mailed" by tomorrow!!!

That's odd that your status is stuck on manufacturing. Normally it goes to mailed on the next business day. Try refreshing your browser or clearing the cache/cookies.sobrnola wrote:darn jayinsat, I mailed my forms the same day as you but am just now in "manufacturing". Re: And the Game Begins
it is odd but I have seen a handful of people that it took 2-4 days to go to "mailed" typically over a weekend. Here's to hoping it changes tomorrow!!!
Re: And the Game Begins
46 Days in background review and counting. Checked again tonight so no news here. Maybe for my birthday at the end of January.
