Is Packing.org dead?
I noticed that it went down over Easter weekend.
That's not a big surprise.
The fact that it's still down on Wednesday is a surprise.

Its been touch and go for almost two years...tomneal wrote:I noticed that it went down over Easter weekend.

Mark Soloman stepped back from the website to pursue other personal deals, and the chat side has just been an ongoing plethra of [expletive deleted] and constant cycling of the same ole stuff since...
Its sad, and I remember when that site first started...It was great, and the resources to me are still good, but haven't been updated in a long while...
Steve Aikens and Gary Slider went off and created that "handgunlaws" website and took the chat part away and kept it as updated as possible on the state to state info...I think thats the way it should be...
Mark this day...It may be the last time...RIP PDO...

Steve_d_64,
It took you 5 minutes to respond to that post. You'll never beat TXI with times like that.

What's the website for "handgunlaws"? I've tried handgunlaws.com and handgunlaws.org and handgunlaws.net.Steve Aikens and Gary Slider went off and created that "handgunlaws" website and took the chat part away and kept it as updated as possible on the state to state info...I think thats the way it should be...

for the longest time I thought my computer flat out couldnt load packing.org. Took a couple of weeks before I realized it was an actual website. It seems every time I'd do research on a gun packing.org would have a forum post over it that I couldnt get to load. It was pretty frustrating but O well you do what you can.
