I hope the victim is okay! It's got to be stressful to shoot robbers.

Another fine correction to the Gene Pool.
And FINALLY reported correctly by the Media!
Just wondering how it will play out in the Grand Jury?
Justified, yes....assault/robbery, disparity of force....several Laws prove it was justified.
Question by GJ: "could you have replaced the property?"
Ans by Victim: "should I have waited for him to find the gun and kill me with it?"
Would like to think that no charges were filed against the VICTIM. But I don't think were are "there" yet.

I'm thinking the stress comes from encountering robbers. Shooting and killing them relieves the stress.WildBill wrote:It's got to be stressful to shoot and kill robbers.jordanmills wrote:I hope the victim is okay! It's got to be stressful to shoot robbers.
I admit I haven't tried this yet.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

Shooting and/or killing a robber may alleviate the immediate source of the stress, but it may come back at a later time. I have read that this is a common occurrance, but I have no first hand experience with this either.JALLEN wrote:I'm thinking the stress comes from encountering robbers. Another answer by Victim: "Many victims are shot after complying"AEA wrote:Another fine correction to the Gene Pool.

The moment that a criminal pulls a weapon on you, your life is in danger and you have the right to use deadly force. And if you are carrying a weapon, it becomes even more serious because your property could be used against you or others in the future. So it could be argued that carrying a gun not only allows you defend yourself, but also makes it more important that you stop the crime.
Only a Liberal fool would see it as a property issue.
And according to the article in the Chronicle, the victims were complying and then threatened because they did not have a lot of cash.

It may happen that way, but I can't think of a single justification for it. When that happens, you have risen to the occasion and struck a blow against recidivism, a mighty blow at that, and one you can be, and should be, proud of.WildBill wrote:Shooting and/or killing a robber may alleviate the immediate source of the stress, but it may come back at a later time. I do not fret about these robbers getting killed in that way. They ought not be doing it. The Texas I grew up in held that if you were doing something you shouldn't be doing and something bad happened to you, well, tough! Nobody's problem but yours!
