Every time I compare Walmart and Academy, Academy is cheaper. Plus, Academy matches competitors prices and usually has more stock, at least in San Antonio.C-dub wrote:Sounds like a great first carry.
Was WalMart out of ammo? How are the prices over at Academy? I have only checked them a couple of times and thought they were a little high.
That's cool about Academy. I'll have to check them out again.jayinsat wrote:Every time I compare Walmart and Academy, Academy is cheaper. Plus, Academy matches competitors prices and usually has more stock, at least in San Antonio.C-dub wrote:Sounds like a great first carry.

How does price matching work? My only experiences generally require a store flyer of some sort, and I've never seen an ad for ammo.PXdon wrote:FYI, cabelas price matches as well.
PXdon wrote:In cabelas, you just need to mention the price at another local store, they call to confirm the price, and then the price is matched. It's pretty nice.
