Improper exhibition of a firearm? I wonder if they have a definition for a properly exhibited firearm or if this is just their way of saying "brandishing?"The 33-year-old was charged with impersonating a police officer and improper exhibition of a firearm.

The article stated that the man flashed a badge and gun. Michigan does have a branishing law, but doesn't define the term.C-dub wrote:Improper exhibition of a firearm? Very interesting. Do we have an equivalent exception here in Texas? I have sold two guns herein Texas and was a little paranoid about someone seeing the gun as the buyer was checking it out and during the transfer. If we do have a similar exception I won't worry about it so much. I don't plan on selling any of what I have now anyway, but I may get something from one of the other members here sometime.WildBill wrote: (d) A person lawfully engaged in the sale, purchase, repair, or transfer of that firearm.

The article stated in the first sentence that the gun was also fake. So did he flash the fake gun but had a real gun in the console?

It appears that way. IMO, "in the console" meant that it was concealed, but it's hard to tell from the article.TXPPQ wrote:The article stated in the first sentence that the gun was also fake. So did he flash the fake gun but had a real gun in the console?
