The motorcycle guys were very tickled that there's dedicated bike parking out front. Let us know what you think of the place...Teamless wrote:that could be the case, but i was using the official name of the business and the address, due to the & is squirrely.RHenriksen wrote:Being overly specific w search terms can backfire.

I agree. I usually find it easier to just get a list of all the retail licenses in a county and page through it. You can then use the PDF search function for one of the words in the name or street. IIRC, the list is alphabetical by trade name so you can just page down to whre you need to be.RHenriksen wrote:Being overly specific w search terms can backfire.
For large counties (Harris for example) the list is pretty long. For smaller counties (like mine, Caldwell) the list is easy to read.

Well, it seems the Gun Sign: field is missing again from the Public Inquiry.
I just sent an email asking them why it was removed. Also placed a call to the person at TABC who helped get this field added last year. She is out until this afternoon, but hopefully it can be resolved quickly and get the field back in the inquiry.

Just received a call from TABC. It was accidentally left off in an upgrade (along with a couple of other things). They are working to restore the field to the query as fast as possible and will update me when it is back.
I will say I am very impressed with the responsiveness and positive support from TABC. Kudos to them on their interest and support!!

Great to hear! And I bet that hearing from the community so quickly about the problem reinforces to them that the extra feature is being used regularly.

I was actually told the feature was a real plus to them. Apparently they had been receiving numerous calls questioning locations and this slowed the telephone inquiries. However, it may have increased the calls telling them a location had a wrong sign up.RHenriksen wrote:Great to hear!
