When you are ambushed and they already have the drop on you, there is not a lot you can do except comply. This guy was smart, kept his cool and waited for the opportune time to protect himself and family. Glad they were uninjured. Hope he hit the other bad guy and he ends up showing up at a hospital somewhere.

According to Garden Grove police, officer responded at 9:08 a.m. to a call about a homeowner in the 9000 block of Chapman Avenue struggling with an intruder. Moments later, it was reported that the homeowner was armed and “possibly” had shot the suspect.

A more recent story on the incident. What I have a little trouble with is the wording of the grand jury sentence at the beginning . Don't they usually say things like, "the case will be presented to the grand jury without charges" What could this guy be charged with?

To me it is quite clear, that the homeowner should not be charged with anything. It was at night, you name it, it was justified.

Would have been nice to know if the BG's were citizens of the USA or "undocumented immigrants", but that was left out of the reporting.

Very tough decision to follow their directions and go into your house where you know you have two females. Glad it all worked out ok for the CHL. Good for him.
