i am looking for a walther ppk/s .380 .. is any one selling one. at the moment i could possilbe afford something in the neighborhood of $300 but would be willing to consider other offers.

I doubt you'll find a PPK or PPK/s for the amount mentioned.

Suggest you consider the Bersa Thunder and buy practice ammo with the change.

I'll back up that recommendation.

There seem to be quite a few happy Bersa Thunder .380 owners on this board. I'm one of them. If you can, go to a range and try one out.

well if i got another brand it would be a sig 232. but i know it will be difficult to get one at the price but that is what i can afford at the moment so i thought i would try.

I have seen a few used PPK/s in the $425-450 range. I don't think they drop much below that.

If I were going to get another one, I would certainly hold out for one of S&W manufacture. The Interarms and earlier versions always gave me 'slide bite'. The extended beavertail on the S&W Walthers was designed to eliminate that problem.

The Sig is also an excellent pistol, but likely to cost more than the PPK/s.
You might find a better price on the discontinued P230.
