I Am Vindicated!
Coffee good for you, but it's OK to hold back [CNN]
The gist of it is that coffee is, in fact, healthy... Probably... Maybe... Unless it gives you health problems, in which case it isn't... sorta...
You know, this is all getting confusing. I'm just gonna go ahead and focus on that first part and declare that science backs up my coffee habit(s).

Oh we all know that ribeye steak is good for you. It's just that most of us don't have coronary arteries robust enough to assimilate all that goodness.WildBill wrote:Now I waiting for the official report on ribeye steak.Dave2 wrote:Coffee good for you, but it's OK to hold back [CNN]

If you believe in the paleo/primal way of eating, rib eye IS good for you (grass fed, hormone free).

As a matter of fact, I am going out for a big Rib-Eye tonight!
Not something I do very often.

Re: I Am Vindicated!
I'm waiting on the folks to find out that Dr Pepper (yes, I know there's no period after the Dr!) is medically indicated for all sorts of what-ails-ya! And rib-eyes are nice, when you can't find a good filet mignon!Dave2 wrote:...The gist of it is that coffee is, in fact, healthy... Probably... Maybe... Coffee drinkers have lower risk for cancer. Keep it under 3 cups per day.
I avg 3-4 cups/wk.

My coffee maker holds 12 cups, I average 2 to 3 pots per day
Except on the weekends when I am at home and have time to enjoy more coffee.

You just admited to drug use, could get you in trouble. I would never tell anyone I drink 12 cups or mor a day.Dave2 wrote:Coffee good for you, but it's OK to hold back [CNN]

How can something that smells as nasty as coffee be good for you?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.
