Any Good ranges near the Waco area?

Are there any public ranges in the Waco area? I’ve heard of a few ranges around here but they all seem to be members only and / or require some kind of orientation.

For now I just need one for pistol shooting, but once I move off campus I'll probably want to do some rifle work out to 300 yards.

There's an indoor range that allows pistols, shotguns, and .22 rifles at The Out House archery store on Franklin next to the RoomStore.

However, I am a member out at a gun club in Valley Mills (http://www.carlchandler.com) for $155 a year/ guests welcome free, or you can go for $15 a pop. I am also a student at BU, shoot me a message..I'd be glad to take you out there as a guest.

I had seen the Out House a while back but didn’t know they had a range I’ll have to check them out. I think I haveseen the range you’re a member at once but could never find any info on it, the sign I saw from the road said something like "Law Enforcement Range" so I assumed it wasn’t open to the public. I’d love to tag along for a range session but all my fun guns are still in Houston.

Janet Reno's boys destroyed the best underground range in the area a few years ago.
