crud, i hope i haven't inadvertently broken the law by trading for this thing.
I would have no problems buying a PD marked from some place like GT knowing I will get a receipt and there's a reasonable presumption that it was actually a police trade in and wasn't reported "lost" and sold on the black market like that NYPD crook. viewtopic.php?f=83&t=56449" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;WildBill wrote:There are plenty of firearms with police markings that I have seen for sale.
Were you joking? If not then a lot of 1911s are running around out there marked US Property. It is not at all unusual and is actually a selling point for some, like me. It is extremely unlikely it is stolen, at least from the Feds.Bart wrote:Does it include paperwork proving it isn't stolen government property?schufflerbot wrote:VERY rare Colt 1911, matching markings and numbers, fantastic condition, 100% functioning.
