any plans for light and/or saddle?

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

Not Duracoated...came Green from Remingon, but was only offered for 1 or 2 years. Got it in early 2006. I have the Knox Power Pac with side saddle, just haven't gotten around to installing it. I may one day add the Sure Fire forearm, but all my $$ is going into the new truck right now.

How do you like that knoxx stock? I was looking at getting one a while back but I read some reviews that a pistol grip makes it more difficult to shoot from the hip.
Both myself and my wife practice with the shotgun from the shoulder and from the hip. Since shooting from the hip reduces the overall length the firearm protrudes from the front of your body it helps in tight areas of the house.

A trick I learned doing CQB back in my door-kicking days:
Pistol grips make shooting from the hip difficult. What we did with our Shotty's and AR's is tuck the butt of the gun under our arm, into our armpit.
Place gun on shoulder like you would normally fire it.
Slide gun butt into arm pit.
Slide gun back into your arm pit until your hand meets the crease in your arm pit.
The pressure put on by squeezing the gun butt between your arm and armpit keeps the recoil down. Your point of aim is a lot more natural. You achieve the same length reduction as you would have by shooting from the hip.
Bada-Bing!

Love the Knox Stock and Limb Saver pad....you can shoot 00 buck all day long and not get a sore shoulder. I don't do much firing from the hip.

Re: Remington 870 Tactical
I have the same kind of setup, with the PowerPak installed:
The Knoxx stock is totally worth it. Makes magnum slugs feel like heavy birdshot. Also eliminates muzzle rise completely.
