Need help with PM9 Holster
Need help with PM9 Holster
I am looking for an AIWB holster for my Kahr PM with Crimson Trace. I am not really in the mood to wait a few weeks for a custom. Any ideas? Tuckable not important. Thanks!

If you're not willing to wait, how about a Remora or a VersaCarry?

...Don Hume Leathergoods out of Miami, OK has been good on customer service and quick shipping...they should be able to answer your fitting questions on the phone and their website will show you what models are available for your weapon...
Re: Need help with PM9 Holster
The Kholster Crescent for Kahr 9's with CT laserguard is $40 and they usually ship very quickly. I have one for my .357 snubbie and it's a really good, no-frills holster at a more than fair price. If you later decide that you either don't like this style of holster, or you do like it and want to get something fancier, then you have a relatively small amount invested in the Kholster.

The Remora is a great, quick ship option. $30.
I wore mine last night to coach a soccer practice. Had it inside gym shorts with a draw string...never moved at all.

Re: Need help with PM9 Holster
I just bought one of these for my LC9 w/ LaserMax.
I tried another, more expensive, tuckable but the raised crescent of checkering on the LC9 left me with a scab after one day.
The only other maker to completely shield the grip was KHolster, but he refused to make one for the LC9 with LaserMax because he didn't like the on/off switch.
I ordered the tuckable on Sunday night and it shipped the next Monday. Great guy to deal with, Ron Gilstrap.
Also sold on ebay, but not as cheap.

Can't do the Remora. It just seems silly to me, no clip, retention or attachment to my body. If I am to go that route, I will just save the money and bulk and go Mexican carry.

Ahhh, bashing Remora. LoL. I thought it was a crazy idea too, until I took myself to GTDist and checked one out for myself. Those things are the bees-knees for smaller framed pistols.
I see your article, and raise you a thread. Search Remora+no-slip+texaschlforum on google, or " remora no slip" on the search engine at the to right of the forum and you can see several reviews from members here.

But then again, to each his own. BTW, I took a Desantis Tuck This II, cut off the magazine holster that is sewed onto it, and use that as an AIWB for a M&P9c. It ships fast from most any distributor. I also have a blackhawk IWB holster that you can find to ship quickly for AIWB carry. I would recommend either.
Check gtdist.com, tacticaldistributors.com, don hume holsters, desantis holsters, blackhawk holsters.... you'll find something I'm sure.

Just not my cup of tea. Like I said, I would Mexican carry then. The bulk that it adds and no "physical" retention are counterproductive for MY needs. Not that it may be a great product for others....

One example of why you might want to rethink Mexican carry can be found here.skystud1 wrote:Can't do the Remora. It just seems silly to me, no clip, retention or attachment to my body. If I am to go that route, I will just save the money and bulk and go Mexican carry.

Re: Need help with PM9 Holster
That is quite terrible! But with a long Kahr trigger pull, shouldn't be a concern. Yikes though for that guy

Do you pocket carry without a holster too?skystud1 wrote:Can't do the Remora. It just seems silly to me, no clip, retention or attachment to my body. If I am to go that route, I will just save the money and bulk and go Mexican carry.
