Man with rake robs store

LUFKIN, Texas (AP) - Lufkin-area authorities say a parolee has been arrested after employees at a convenience store say he wore a towel around his face as a mask and used a rake as a weapon during a robbery this week.



The Lufkin Daily News (http://bit.ly/JCJ7jF" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) reports the towel and rake were found in the trunk of Rushing's car.

Records show Rushing was released on parole last September after he was sentenced in 1993 to 40 years for aggravated robbery. He also has a record for felony escape and burglary

Yes

The guy had a prior 40 year sentence for agg robbery ... he had gotten free medical, food service, free clothing, free laundry service, rent, utilities etc ... then they evicted him (parole) ... he needed to get back in... So when Medicare can't pay for needed medical, when retirees can't afford the nursing home ...

The guy used a rake, I'm thinking he just wanted back in ...
