Odd Classroom location

#1

Post by TexasGal »

A co-worker and I went to lunch today. Her husband recently got his CHL license. I inquired if he enjoyed the class and was told with a laugh that it was kind of weird. When I asked why, she replied the instructor's wife has a hair salon and his class was held there. He said a lady was getting a permanent and the smell was hard to ignore.

I was surprised, but then I told her it was probably ok as long as everything was covered well. Now I wonder how often this is happening that instructors are having to hold classes in less than ideal locations. On the other hand, a lady's only class could work in a location like that :biggrinjester:

(note, if you are the instructor involved, I mean no offense :tiphat: )

Not so strange here. No one was working at the time but 1.5yr ago I had a special class at a beauty shop for the owner, employees, & owners parents. I will do a lot of special classes for businesses at their location.

Those comments come within a whisker of offensive. :coolgleamA:

It's a simple matter of logistics. One uses what is available. It was probably stranger for the salon customer to have all that gun talk going on.

All this has made me realize I need a haircut and color. Now, if I could just find a really cool salon like that one to go to...:

Those things really still exist? Haven't seen one since I was a young kipper.
