Hello from Austin

#1

Post by JaredW »

Hello, new member here.
I live in Austin and am looking to begin a career in Executive Protection. I was Active Duty Army for 4 years as Infantry and then 2 years Texas Army National Guard as a Cavalry Scout. I had one 16 month deployment to Iraq where I spent time in Mosul, Rawah and Baghdad.
I recently graduated from The University of Texas at Austin as well as receiving my TX DPS Personal Protection Officer, Private Investigator and Commissioned Security Officer licenses. I am an NRA Pistol, Shotgun and Rifle Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer and GLOCK Armorer.
I really enjoy all the valuable information on this forum!
Thanks to all! :tiphat:

Some parents say it is toy guns that make boys warlike. But give a boy a rubber duck and he will seize its neck like the butt of a pistol and shout "Bang!"......George Will

Welcome aboard from an old sailor. Well, airdale anyway.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.
