I'll just say this: Imagine if Zimmerman had a badge. It would have just reinforced the idea that he was a wannabe vigilante. In my view, there's a one-in-a-thousand chance that I'll ever have to use my handgun. Inside that slim chance, there may be another one-in-a-thousand chance that a badge would be helpful. I'd rather take my risks without a badge. IMO, it's more likely to do me harm than good.You can get a license, basically a license to kill, but it's not a license to kill really.
