FS: SIG 1911 Railed TACPAC

#1

Post by OldCannon »

I've got two of these, but I'm tempted to keep one for myself! I have these listed at $899, but if you're a TexasCHL Forum "Member" or higher, I will offer them for $879 (that way nobody makes a TexasCHLForum account just to eat half my profit margin* ;-) ).

More details on the SIG site here (these are the railed versions, so they have a laser sight instead of a 3rd magazine). http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductD ... acpac.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here's a pic of one I took a couple days ago:

Remember, I'm an FFL, so that means background check (if you don't have a CHL) and, sadly, Texas Sales Tax :cryin

* Yes, my margins are that small. If I wanted to get rich, I'd have opened up a women's shoe store :smilelol5:

The magazines look like 45acp, and the little magazine loader doohickey says .45acp so I'm going to guess that's the caliber.

Ah, yes, 45 ACP.

I'm not sure SIG has even released a 1911 in other than 45 and .22LR yet.

I'm tempted... If I sell some overhead, I'll definitely be interested!!

--Also an FFL, and Sig, sadly, doesn't allow me to sell currently.

I have this same weapon w/o laser. Think I've had one FTF in about 500 rounds, awesome piece of equipment.

I had the pleasure of OldCannon showing me one of these personally. What a beautiful gun that just felt like a quality piece.

Thanks. There always seems to be a few guns that I sell that I just want to snatch away from the customer at the last moment and say, "NO! MINE! MINE! MINE!" "rlol"

One day this biz will make me rich enough to own any darn gun I want. These days though, it all seems to go back into the biz (and more). And there ALWAYS seems to be little things nibbling at my income. I should have started this in my 20's, rather than when I was 50

If you think these guns are pretty, you folks should see the two ARs I have waiting to be "adopted" by loving owners (I have to take them out for a 50yd zero next week before I put them on the block)

BTW, both those 1911s are still available

P.S. - For those of you that care, these SIGs are external-extractor 1911s. I happen to like external extractors vs internal ones, but you tend to find people on both sides of the camp.

Strange. I didn't realize there was a One-1911-per-person limit I thought I knew all the laws too. "rlol"
