Verizon Wireless Theater

#1

Post by BigGlockFan »

Friday night I'm going to see Sean Hannity and Mark Levin at the Verizon Wireless Theater. I was wondering if anyone had been there lately and could tell me if it is posted 30.06 or what the security is like?

Thanks!

I am not sure but that could be construed as a professional sporting event.

Ya I would say Hannity is not a sporting event. I'm not worried about a lame pat down from a joker who doesn't know what he or she is actually looking for. I would be worried about a 30.06 posting or metal detectors. I just want a heads up so I can dress appropriately.
I am pumped though to see Hannity live and Mark Levin, should be a lot of fun!

I looked at Harris County Appraisal District and didn't find a match for 510 Texas Ave. 77002

But
501 Texas Ave. 77002 is owned by the City of Houston

So this means we are unsure about security and the possibility of 30.06 posted?

30.06 posted
No metal detectors
There purse inspections

It reminded me of an inside out mall.

There were shops all along the parameter.

So I don't see a determination as to whether the Verizon Wireless Theater is government-owned or not. I'm not sure where to check this, either. I do know that its address is 520 Texas Ave.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I have tentative plans to see Joel McHale (my gf loves him) in Houston at this location in February. I'd like to carry if at all possible, and I'm not sure right now whether or not I'll be able to. I would prefer not to have to leave my firearm open to theft in a parking lot.

I checked the Harris County Tax Assessor website, but couldn't find anything at this specific address. :headscratch

The only ownership information I could find was on wikipedia (not quite a definitive source):
The Verizon Wireless Theater (formerly Aerial Theater) is an indoor theater owned by Live Nation and located in Houston, TX. The theater is located at 520 Texas Ave in the 130,000 square foot Bayou Place entertainment complex.
Any ideas?
