Re: Colt .45s Throwback Jerseys
REALLY very disappointed with this. Especially since I heard the MLB say that the decision was the teams to make, they didn't care.
Just another step towards erasing history.

I don't understand your response, since the decision that was made was to wear the authentic jersey with the 'pistol'.PBratton wrote:REALLY very disappointed with this. Especially since I heard the MLB say that the decision was the teams to make, they didn't care.

Re: Colt .45s Throwback Jerseys
I'd like to buy one of the throwback Colt jersey's -- with the revolver, of course.

I just wonder how much money they spent to edit out the revolver? This seems like one of the dumber things a pro sport team has done in recent years.

Re: Colt .45s Throwback Jerseys
MLB was the one that said the Astros could not use the pistol on the jersey. It was not the Astros call. MLB had a change of heart after recieving numerous complaints from Astros fans. They decided they would leave it up to the Astros to decide if the pistol will be on the jersey or not. The Astros announced yesterday the pistol will be on the uniforms for the games they play on 4/10 and 4/20.Story Here

Then I completely misunderstood the link in the OP. It inferred that the pistol would not be on the new jerseys...Mike1951 wrote:I don't understand your response, since the decision that was made was to wear the authentic jersey with the 'pistol'.PBratton wrote:REALLY very disappointed with this. Glad that they will be using the oginial design then.

That decision has been reversed since the OP was posted.
