Wow...lot's of powerful response! DA's & Texas Ranger investigating the shooting.......

I think the only needed response to something like this is the Coroner.

The DA and Texas Rangers are involved in most police deadly force investigations. It's for the protection of both the officer and his agency and to assure the public there was no wrongdoing. If I were that cop I would welcome the third party investigation.

Runge's criminal record includes six convictions dating to 2009
6 convictions and still out on the street...

Very strange for this area indeed. I hadn't heard about it until now, so I guess I need to keep a better ear out locally.

You gotta wonder bout the moron that robs a $5 pizza joint. At least go across the street to WingStop. (Mmmmmm, Wings.......)

Reading the latest link, just above this comment, the robber scored $1,200 from Little Caesar's Pizza.

The LEO fired 3 shots, hitting the BG 2X: once in the arm and once in the forehead - you know that left a mark.

My wife's cousin just got caught criming for the 20th time in 19 years. We do believe he's finally going away for a while. He got on the crack and has never come back. It's time to lock him away for a long time.
