A gun law we really need
Federal employees should not be allowed to carry guns on duty. Off duty they should have to follow the same rules as other citizens.

Are you trying to confuse us by using the same name as another current thread?

i disagree. they're armed because they need to be... disarming the entire department or branch because of a few bad apples would be the equivalent of repealing the CHL laws because a CHL murders someone.

I disagree. This is a good example of why guns should NOT be barred from the work place. If the other agent had not been armed, the supervisor would likely be dead, and who knows how many others the gunman should have shot.

The next time I see this as the title of the post, it should only state the following:
That is a gun law we really need, and the ONLY gun law that we "really need" [/thread]A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed

If people getting a federal paycheck can carry so should federal taxpayers.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.
