What A Surprise!

#1

Post by Razorback »

Like most, I've been checking my status multiple times a day since mailing all my documents on 1-09-12.
On the 18th it change to pending background review.

I even checked it last night and still no movement.

Just out of curiosity????? I checked today. Low and Behold..."Background Complete"....Manufacturing Pending". :anamatedbanana

All most there!

Is it weird to be walking around with a empty holster just to start getting use to it? :confused5

That is a great feeling and congrats!

It's only weird that you have an empty holster - put a gun in it ;-) and then walk around. The weight (unless it's a mouse gun) will take a little getting used to.

Thanks.

I have been wearing the holster with a gun around the house. The empty holster has only been out of the house a few times. Trying to get the feel down.

Looking forward to getting use to the weight while doing my everyday running around.

Congratulations, Razorback! You're making great progress!

It's good that you're carrying around the house to get used to wearing the holster and gun. What often feels okay when tested out for a moment may present some surprises when sitting, moving, bending, etc. and that's the beauty of wearing in the safety and comfort of your home. Even if everything is "just right", it always helps to get some wear time in so you can get past the awkwardness of the extra gear on you. Hopefully, by the time your plastic arrives, you'll have the fit and feel down so your first outing will be a breeze.

Good fer ya'. Don't be surprised if you start ordering more holsters  after you carry for a while, I think most everybody here has a bunch in the drawer.

Nope. the 1987 incident was a buddy of mine that shoplifted. I happened to be with him and I got the same charge. Regardless of the incident that was the one and only time I had a run in with Johnny! That was enough!!!

The long part of the wait is over. The part that "feels" even longer has just begun.
