What if this ammo was used in a self defense shooting? Do you think the bgs lawyer would try to make a case out of it, after all it's meant to kill zombies. That's if the bg lives to hire a lawyer.

Just a gimmick for the video game crowd. These performed poorly penetration wise in the aforementioned ballistic gel test. Don't waste your money.

I actually bought a box of Zombie at Academy this past Friday for $18.99/box for 25 count 9MM. The brass version with the red insert was $5.00 more. It is a hollow point bullet with an insert. The insert allows the bullet to travel further upon impact before expanding. I think this is a fantastic defense bullet. It is as safe as a HP with more penetration.

Yeah, I think the Zombie max is just critical defense with a different color insert. IIRC the insert actually is there to help make sure that the bullet actually expands as it prevents the hollow point cavity from getting clogged by other material.
