The Leapers may be cheap but it works fine and should hold up well. Unless you are competing or SWAT/Military then I see no need for $1000 scopes.

Good use of that "FrontPage 2000" book. That's about all it's good for.chlag01 wrote:Time Lapse of my first AR15 assembly:

Nice looking patrol carbine when all said and done, though.

Hi-Point 995TS otherwise know as the Monkey Gun because of its resembalance to the Planet of the Apes Carbines however after a couple of range trips believe this thing would be good for shooting monkeys out of trees. Not that I have anything against monkeys, just don't like them. Most accurate carbine I've ever fired with iron sights. 5 shot grouping inside of 3" at 50yds.
Don't believe all of the Hi-Point bashing when it comes to the carbines.

Re: Pictures of your "Black Guns"
I've added a couple of black guns since I last posted.
Around Christmas, I got a Ruger LCP .380. This one is the Rick Perry inspired "Coyote Special."
And yesterday a Remington 870 Tactical 12 Ga followed me home. It has an 18.5" barrel and 7-round magazine tube.
Pictured with my old reliable Smith & Wesson SW40F .40 S&W that I've had since shortly after they were introduced. (Don't believe the bad rap they get. This one never fails to go bang when I pull the trigger. It'll put 16 rounds into a single hole a little over an inch at 30 feet, not pinpoint accuracy but plenty good for defensive work, and it'll do it every time if I do my part. And the older trigger is much smoother than what comes on the newer models.)
