It's alway been a (sometimes rather long) 1-day deal since the first renewal I did in 1997. I doubt Riddle's replacement changes that part anyway ... I expect packet in the mail any day now giving schedule of available dates. Their web site says possible as early as June. I'll try to remember and post here once received.

Has anyone else run into a problem with TexasOnline? I tried for two days to log in and start my instructor's renewal, but everytime I'd get through the address/information screens the whole thing would lock up and say there was a site error and to call technical assistance.

I finally got fed up and did it the old fashioned way.....call them and have them send a packet. Now I just hope they send it......

I've been trying all day to start the renewal process online and I've had the same problem, it's very frustrating.

Hey... Yes it's me, I always know where to go for accurate information... Texas CHL forum.

I'm still trying to register on texasonline.com so I don't expire, I received a letter from them about two weeks ago, and I'm just now getting around to registering. I sent them an email to let them know there's a problem with their site, I hope their instructor renewals don't fill up too fast.

I did the online portion of the renewal about a week ago and just got the application packet in the mail yesterday. I guess they send the available dates when I send in the application and fingerprint cards back.
