Greens Road and Imperial Valley Drive. I remember when this was a reasonably safe part of town.
I guess he made the decision not to shoot any of the ten customers in the store.

Some of my co-workers call that area of Houston "Gunspoint".

Back in the early 90's, this was one of the most drug and gang infested areas of Houston. I used to oversee the management of several apartment complexes in the area. I made sure I was out of the area before sundown.

It was probably safe back when it was more rural.

Yep, that is Gunspoint. I've been accosted in that same shopping center while filling the car at that Shell station.

I work a couple of miles east of there (east of the Hardy) and travel past there towards I-45 frequently to get lunch. Several restaurants I eat at regularly.

That is an armpit for sure. I work at the airport just east and we avoid that place. Never eat lunch down in that area.
