Extra Long Shirts
Howdy Y'all. Wasn't sure where in forum this would go, so guessing here?
I am ever in search of long shirts, dress and t-shirts. If you are tall, you know the issues.
And if you are on this forum, you know the other issue. Found these, very comfy T's, a little pricey, but really long!

If anyone else has good sources for extra tall shirts, I would like to hear about them. Thanks!

I stocked up on JCPenneys TALL shirts when they were on sale http://www.jcpenney.com/jcp/X2.aspx?Dep ... AMS_V=X2H1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Batman Tee in Tall

I thought about getting "The Flash" but then I'd have to make a guest appearance on "The Big Bang Theory"

I like those DuluthTradingCo shirts also. They put them on sale occasionally, along with discounts/free shipping for purchase of multiples. The ones I own have held up well.
Hit the Clearance/Sale section at JCP or Old Navy. Not sure of the quality, but this made me lol:
Taz Gun Show Tee - Big and Tall - $5.97

Re: Extra Long Shirts
JCP markets the 'Stafford' Ts.
They come in two weights. The thicker weight is more comfortable and, despite the thicker material, does a better job of wicking away sweat.
Stafford (JCP) also has on hand the Large Tall and Extra Large Tall.
I'm not a tall guy, but the Tall size in heavier weight keeps my T shirt tucked in and the wind from whistling down, sometimes up, my cheeks.
I do wish they'd be available with a pocket and in colors that don't show coffee stains.
The Tall is a smaller market, so retail buyers don't order a bunch. If you find some, load up your cart. It might be a while before you see them on sale again.
I've eusually bought mine over the 'net/cataloge sales.

Re: Extra Long Shirts
I am of "prosperous" proportions and big & tall shops carry my size. I recently discovered The Foundry big & tall stores. There are several of their stores within 20 miles of my house in the DFW metroplex. There may be a store in your vicinity too. They have a good collection of dress shirts which are cut for being worn untucked, if you're looking for something dressier than t-shirts or work shirts.

...my work is casual dress...pocket Ts and jeans...and I wear a 3X heavy T...loose enough to be comfortable and cover well, and comes down to my pockets...Wal-Mart...about $4...in a dressier polo type shirt...buy the next size up and it gets you some length without spending a lot...
Re: Extra Long Shirts
duluth trading co is great
I also get my jeans and pants there (not all models of jeans/pants have the "deep pockets" there, read carefully ) I get the deeper pocket ones so I can carry a Keltec P11 or even a Glock 26/27 front pocket carry as a BUG

Re: Extra Long Shirts
Hey, how about us "short and small" (but not small around the waist...) guys? By the time I get a t-shirt big enough for my "prosperous condition," it's way too long (think mini-dress). Besides which, my dermatologist told me to always wear a long-sleeved shirt and a broad-brimmed hat when I'm in the sun longer than 5 minutes. Untucked t-shirts or short-sleeved shirts may look O.K., but untucked long-sleeved shirts look kinda goofy--at least on "height-challenged" guys like me. And to top it all of, I don't like the idea of tucked, IWB carry. It's hard enough to get the gun out quickly without having to pull the shirt out of my pants. Right now I carry in the strong-side front pants pocket, which is O.K. if the pocket is not too shallow, not too deep, not too tight, etc., etc.

round bottomed "Cuban wedding" shirts? (long sleeves and for warm climates)
I wear guayabera shirts daily; "Cuban wedding" shirts on Sunday
round bottomed shirts would look goofy if they were tucked in
similar colored pants as the shirt as in non-contrasting colors and no one really notices if you're tucked or untucked anyway

Disclaimer: but then realize that this advice comes from a guy who was born with only 1 hand and won't be looking like everyone else ever anyway, so I please myself as to how I look and dress comfortably because I gave up on looking how others wanted me to when mom could only afford Rustler Jeans instead of Levis back in Jr High school, so I wore orange socks and dollar sized cufflinks with a horse's head on them on Tuxedo shirts with french cuffs and tassels from the cufflinks.... no one mentioned my pants not being the "in-crowd/popular crowd" brand. Life's too short to wear "irregulars" that are the right brand/style but creep up and hurt the umnmm sensitive/delicate parts just to "look right" and please others. The older one gets, the easier it is.

I think it would help if Levi would make a blue denim OWB holster.
