New Stephen Hunter Book
I just picked up a copy of Stephen Hunter's (Shooter-Point of Impact) new book "Soft Target". Guess it came out about a month ago. This one is about Ray Cruz the retired Marine Sniper. Can't wait to get started.

Re: New Stephen Hunter Book
I tried one of his books for the first time earlier this year and I couldn't put it down. I've now read almost everything he's written (with an exception to the one you just posted about). He does tell a good story!

Re: New Stephen Hunter Book
- Went to Amazon.com
- Purchased Kindle edition, "1 Click"
- Launched Kindle app
- Reading it now.....interrupted myself to come here and say that any book that opens with Santa's head getting blown off will likely get my attention.

I've read it. I liked it.
Thought "Dead Zero" was a better book, but Soft Target was an enjoyable read.

Agreed, but this was a shorter, less-complicated story. It was a good book though. I devoured it in under 3 hours of reading. Very enjoyable, nonetheless.74novaman wrote:I've read it. I liked it.

And, yes, any story that opens up with Santa Claus getting shot in the first sentence has GOT to be cool
