What a deal!

Post by Baytown »

As I was sitting here last week working the job at the credit union, I was looking at Gunbroker.com. Another officer walked in and said he had a gun I might want.

I asked what it was and he said a "snubbed-nose Smith and Wesson". So far so good. I asked what model and he had no idea.

I asked him how much he wanted for it as I love J-frames.

He said he paid $100 for it and he would be happy to take that. I asked him, seriously, "How much do you want?" Reply--$100.

Cash on the barrel head and he said he would go and get it.

Smith 37 with a pinned bbl, slight wear on the cylinder release and had a set of Bianchi grips that makes it into a "hump-back".

I love getting new guns.

I never thought of myself as the jealous type, but you push the limit of what a man should put up with, Baytown.

And yes, pics, please. Us XY's are visual beings, remember? Thats why we don't read the articles.

Chas, LOL.

I just thought it was a good deal. I looked on the Century International web site and looked at the law enforcement section. I found two 37's for sale at $75 each and a SW M19 for $100.

But I still can't complain about $100.

A couple of days because I work the bank on Thurs. I took this spot today because it was open for today. I will attempt on Thurs.
